Description
As a Business Analyst, you are the critical bridge between our business stakeholders and our R&D department. You will be a key partner to our Solution Architect, responsible for transforming complex business needs into the precise, rigorous, and industry-standard documentation required for our ambitious ERP re-architecture.
Your primary mandate is to ensure that zero ambiguity is passed to the development team. You will be the expert owner of all functional requirements, captured through world-class BPMN process flows, UML diagrams, and meticulously authored User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
Your work is the essential foundation—the “single source of truth”—that enables our architect and engineers to apply advanced principles like DDD and Clean Architecture effectively
Roles & Responsibilities
- Communication: Superior facilitation and communication skills, with the proven ability to lead workshops, manage stakeholder expectations, and gain consensus.
- Requirement Elicitation: Lead workshops and interviews with clients, product owners, and domain experts to elicit, analyze, and capture complex business requirements for our HIS/ERP modules.
- Process Modeling (BPMN): Develop and maintain detailed BPMN 2.0 diagrams to meticulously map current-state (‘as-is’) and future-state (‘to-be’) business processes, including all exception paths and business rules.
- System Modeling (UML): Create comprehensive UML diagrams (e.g., Use Case, Activity, and State Machine diagrams) to formally model system behavior, user interactions, and complex state transitions.
- Agile Authoring: Author clear, concise, and unambiguous User Stories and define precise, testable Acceptance Criteria for each one. Your ACs must be detailed enough to cover all business rules, scenarios, and edge cases.
- Verification & Validation: Facilitate formal review sessions with the original business stakeholders, walking them through your BPMN, UML, and User Stories to gain explicit sign-off and confirm that your documentation perfectly represents their requirements.
- Handoff & Support: Act as the primary requirements liaison for the Solution Architect and development teams. You will present the verified documentation, clarify all functional queries, and ensure a perfect, shared understanding before implementation begins.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in an enterprise software environment (ERP, HIS, finance, or similar complex domains) [Year of experience is negotiable if you are confident in the above-mentioned skills].
- BPMN Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in BPMN 2.0. Must be able to model complex, multi-level business processes, including all gateways, events, and exception paths, in a clear and standardized way.
- UML Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in UML. Must demonstrate mastery of creating and interpreting Use Case, Activity, and State Machine diagrams. Familiarity with Class and Sequence diagrams is a significant asset.
- Agile Mastery: Demonstrable, expert-level skill in authoring effective User Stories and Acceptance Criteria. You must have a strong portfolio of examples showcasing your ability to capture complex logic.
- Analytical Rigor: Meticulous, obsessive attention to detail is non-negotiable. You must possess exceptional analytical skills and a passion for finding and resolving ambiguity.
